The Seminarians in the City program equips our future church leaders by creating a space for students to actively engage the issues of faith and social justice as they pertain to urban ministry. Seminarians in the City provides a unique opportunity to address faith, justice, and theological issues in an urban environment by way of community partnerships, mentorship, and a structured educational program.

Seminarians in the City equips local seminarians to respond to the call of the Gospel in the city and beyond through active engagement in urban ministry, critical evaluation of contemporary urban issues, and the intentional pursuit of the integration of faith and social justice. It is designed for those who are pursuing a Master of Divinity, but who may see their call outside of the church walls.

Many thanks to the E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation for supporting this important educational program.
