Emergency Needs Network

The Emergency Needs Network (ENN) provides urgent help to some of our lowest-income residents in danger of becoming homeless, including those who are unemployed, elderly, and/or disabled. The network is designed to address immediate needs related to housing stability through two key elements: early intervention and limited financial support (when available).

The most common ENN intervention provides up-to-date information about tenant rights and the eviction process, and/or referrals to our network of community-based resources that assist individuals and families stay housed. Examples of these resources include housing, fuel assistance, legal aid, and health/mental health programs. When City Mission has the financial resources, we provide small, one-time grants for back rent or utilities.
